Job Description
Presbyterian is seeking a Paramedic IV in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Responsible for prioritizing the delivery of direct nursing care using time and resources efficiently integrating a standards-based framework model.

Type of Opportunity: FullTime FTE: 0.900000 Exempt: No Work Schedule: 12 hour nights 7p-7a
Qualifications- High school or GED plus trade or vocational school in paramedicine.
- Current NM Paramedic License required. Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions is required. 2-5 years of experience as a paramedic preferred. Current CPR and ACLS is required. Ability to type 20 wpm preferred.
- ED/UC: Previous EMS Dispatch experience preferred. 2 years ED patient care experience including triage experience preferred
- Associate's degree (any field of study) AND 10 yrs. of direct patient care Paramedic experience OR Bachelors degree (any field of study) AND 5 yrs of direct patient care Paramedic experience
- BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
- Detailed Responsibilities For Paramedics in the ED setting: Performs care to ED patients as identified in the Paramedic Scope of Practice
