Position Responsibilities
As a Cath Lab Tech, you will operate under physician supervision and play an essential role in diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include:

• Operating X-ray equipment and assisting with radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration.
• Performing as a surgical scrub assistant during procedures.
• Preparing patients for procedures, including medical history reviews, patient positioning, and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites.
• Monitoring patients pre- and post-procedure, reporting any abnormal findings to the care team.
• Assisting with Specimen Processing, Urine Testing, Blood Cultures, and Capillary Puncture as needed.
• Setting up and maintaining lab equipment, supplies, and ensuring smooth room turnovers.

Requirements

• ASCP Certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Cath Lab or related specialty.
• Experience in Clinical Laboratory Operations, Patient Transport, and Specimen Processing a plus.

Additional Details

• Type: Travel contract (hourly rate includes housing and meal stipends)
• Shift: Days
• Applicants within 60 miles of the facility are considered locals and not eligible for stipends.
