Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel CVOR Tech

Shift : Days / 7a-5:30p, 104, 40 hrs/week, no weekends; every other holiday

Length : 13 weeks

Call: Will take 1/3 of the call.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a surgical tech
• Graduated from an accredited (CAAHEP) surgical technologist school or equivalent military training or 10+ years experience as a Surgery Technician
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong cardiac experience including scrubbing hearts or a Vascular Surg Tech
• Large Hospital experience (Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience required)
• AHA BLS

• Travelers permanent address must be greater than 100 miles

**Manager is open to either a CVOR Tech with strong cardiac experience including scrubbing hearts or a Vascular Surg Tech for this role please include experience in profile** Job: Certified or non certified surgical tech (CVOR or Vascular) Shift: 410s Days (0700-1730); no weekends; every other holiday Call: Will take 1/3 of the call discussed in interview Minimum Requirements (4019): 2 years of experience as a surgical tech Large Hospital experience (Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience required) BLS (AHA) certification High school diploma or GED Graduated from an accredited (CAAHEP) surgical technologist school or equivalent military training or 10+ years experience as a Surgery Technician. If CVOR Tech: Must have strong cardiac experience including scrubbing hearts for this role If Vascular Surg Tech: Please confirm travelers competency and frequency of these common surgeries when submitting: Angioplasty Thrombectomy Carotid Endarterectomy (CEA) Transcarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR) Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR) SUMMARY and PURPOSE OF POSITION The Surgical Technologist and/or the Certified Surgical Technologist prepares the room and gathers supplies needed for surgical procedures; delivers instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team intra operatively; may function as second assistant to the surgeon; assists in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies and instruments post operatively. Candidate must have experience scrubbing a variety of cases Including CVOR. Other service lines include GYN, General, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma. Department consists of 20 OR suites and an average volume or census of approximately 50. Hospital will provide a locker and scrubs.
