Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provides healthcare in collaboration with physicians and nurses in the inpatient department.
  • Required to respond to all patient emergencies.
  • Code cart inspection and maintenance (adult and pediatric)
  • Coordinate care with the onsite nurse, nurse practitioners and physicians.
  • Follow protocols as written in the paramedic protocol binder
  • Complies with all HIPAA regulations to maintain patient rights to privacy by not discussing privileged information outside the work area and preserving the patients’ dignity at all times,
  • Understands, promote and operate by overall company vision and values, goals, objectives and strategies.
  • Helps other employees to accomplish the Center’s Goals.
  • Promotes harmony, teamwork, leadership and good supervisory and employee relations through example.
  • Participates in training, orientation and staff development programs.
  • Maintains current continuing education requirements

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Paramedic License State of Indiana

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: Paramedic License, BCLS, ACLS, PALS

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current ACLS, BLS and PALS, and Paramedic License
