St. Vincent’s Medical Center is a member of Ascension Health, the largest Catholic non-profit healthcare system in the nation. Located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. A 473-bed community teaching and referral hospital, St. Vincent's provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. Our health system offers a comprehensive range of over 50 medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties. St. Vincent's is a level II trauma center with a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility located in Westport, Connecticut.

St. Vincent's Hospital opened its doors on June 28, 1905. Over the years, the hospital has expanded and educational programs and patient services have been added. Today, St. Vincent's Medical Center continues its commitment to education in healthcare fields through programs offered at St. Vincent's College and through the St. Vincent's Medical Center's Graduate Medical Education Program, which is affiliated with numerous universities throughout the region. St. Vincent's is also the principal clinical partner of Quinnipiac University’s Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine, and more than 150 of our physicians serve on the institution’s clinical faculty.
